Power outage forces some stores at Dedham’s Legacy Place to close

DEDHAM, Mass. — A power outage on Thursday forced the closure of Legacy Place in Dedham, with some stores reopening around noon, according to officials.

As of noon, Legacy Place, an outdoor shopping venue housing several stores, was still experiencing power outages, but some businesses have opened at full capacity.

Crews are working with the town of Dedham and utility crews to fix the problem and reopen the property as soon as possible, a spokesperson said.

Whole Foods, which is also located at Legacy Place, remains open.

It’s unknown what caused the power outage.
