Could safe injection sites be coming to Massachusetts?

BOSTON — Supervised spaces for people to use drugs, including injecting heroin. On Tuesday, a state commission could be recommending that Massachusetts open one or more of these "safe injection" sites.

The mayor of Cambridge traveled to Montreal to see how safe injection sites work after he saw our report last year.

Now, he's on the commission that is deciding if safe injection sites should open here.
