MEDFORD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Clear Channel Outdoor donated billboard space to help police catch the Polite Burglar.
You can see a sketch of the Polite Burglar on Clear Channel Outdoor digital billboards on Route 93 in Medford and Stoneham. The billboards aim to help Winchester and Woburn police catch the suspect who has broken into many homes in both towns, the most recent incident allegedly occurred on Nov. 5. He usually enters through a window and was dubbed the Polite Burglar because he has apologized to victims after entering their homes. However, police say he should still be considered dangerous.
Clear Channel Outdoor hopes the billboard will be seen by thousands of drivers and lead the police to information they need in order to catch the suspect. He is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic or light-skinned African American man in his early 20s. He stands about 6 feet tall and has black marks or acne scars on his face. Anyone with information is asked to call Woburn Police at 781-933-1212 or Winchester Police at 781-729-1212.
