(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Catherine Greig will be spending the Fourth of July in Oklahoma.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is reporting that the longtime girlfriend of James "Whitey" Bulger is currently at the federal transfer center in Oklahoma City.
The 61-year-old will be held there until she is assigned to a permanent prison.
Greig was sentenced to eight years behind bars for helping Bulger avoid capture for 16 years.
Bulger is scheduled to go on trial next March for the murders of 19 people.
