STERLING, Mass. - Route 190 South in Sterling is closed near Exit 6 as of 7:30 a.m. on Thursday morning after a crash, according to Mass. State Police.
Officials closed the roadway nearly 90 minutes after that vehicle, driving the wrong way, hit an unoccupied construction vehicle around 6 a.m.
Traffic is being diverted off of the exit while cleanup remains underway.

The driver of the vehicle involved was transported to UMass Medical Center. There has been no word on his or her condition.
