Car drives into Burlington liquor store

BURLINGTON, Mass. — A major cleanup was needed at a Burlington liquor store after an elderly woman drove into the building.

Around 10 a.m., an elderly woman drove into the brick building at the Liquor Cabinet in Burlington, cracking the brick wall and sending the glass door off its hinge.

Every nip, pink and liter that was on the shelf came crashing down, sending liquor and shattered glass all over the floor.

Luckily, Manager Steve Tomeo, who was behind the counter, was able to jump over before he got ran over or hit by the brick wall.

No one was hurt.

There is no word on if the driver is facing charges.
