FITCHBURG, Mass. — A car became wedged between two columns of the gas station pump in Fitchburg Saturday.
Police said around 2 p.m. a customer at the Cumberland Farms on River Road tried to backup and parallel park at the gas pump. Police said based on the investigation, it appears the floor mat became stuck in the gas pedal. This caused the car to become wedged between the station's load bearing columns.
