BURLINGTON, Mass. — The Burlington Mall reopened at 9 a.m. Monday after a water main break closed it down Sunday.
The break happened in the Macy's parking lot Saturday night. Crews spent all day Sunday trying to clean up the mess. The mall decided to close temporarily, and then for the rest of Sunday due to the problem.
A spokeswoman for the mall said there was no damage to the mall or any of its stores.
With just a few days until Christmas, it was a loss for shoppers and retailers alike.
The Burlington Mall is located off Route 128.
