Brush fire that damaged home in Uxbridge under investigation

UXBRIDGE, Mass. — A reward is being offered for information on what caused an eight-acre brush fire in Uxbridge on Wednesday that damaged a home.

Firefighters from Uxbridge and neighboring communities responded to the fire on Old Elmdale Road around 2 p.m.

The fire damaged a house located on the property.

Anyone with information related to the cause of the fire is urged to call the Uxbridge Police Department. Tipsters can also utilize the Arson Watch reward program, which offers a reward of up to $5,000, by calling 1-800-682-9229.

Signs advertising the Arson Watch program have been posted on the property.
