BOSTON — A man was shot and killed in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood on Monday night, police say.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Delhi and Violet Streets around 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The man died on scene.
Boston Police Commissioner William Gross said this is an active scene and officers are currently canvassing the area to find out if any witnesses have any information on the shooting or if there are any nearby cameras that can help with the investigation.
