Boston Police: Armed robber strikes twice within minutes

BOSTON — An armed robber struck two businesses in Mattapan within minutes of each other Saturday afternoon, according to Boston police.

Police told Boston 25 News the man robbed a Cricket Wireless store on River Street with a gun.

Investigators said the thief then walked next door and robbed the Papa Johns pizza restaurant.

Both businesses have surveillance cameras, but that video has not been made available to the public.
