SWAMPSCOTT, Mass. — The body of a man found on King's Beach in Swampscott belongs to a white man in his 50s, according to the Essex County District Attorney's Office.
A spokesperson said the body has been identified as a homeless man from Lynn.
Swampscott police began investigating Saturday morning after a jogger found the body on the beach and called police around 5:30 a.m.
The district attorney's office said the man appears to have died of accidental drowning.
