Body found burning in car is apparent suicide

PLYMOUTH, Mass. — A body was found in a car engulfed in flames early Saturday morning, according to Plymouth Fire Chief Edward Bradley.

In an email to Boston 25 News, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz’s Office said, “this appears to be a suicide. There is no foul play suspected.”

Officials got a call at 2:21 a.m. reporting a car on fire in a parking lot on Water Street. When crews started to knock down the fire, they saw a body in the car.
