Bode Miller's 19-month-old daughter passes away

Former Olympic skier Bode Miller announced on Instagram that his 19-month-old daughter Emeline "Emmy" Grier Miller has passed away.

"We are beyond devastated," Miller said. "Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this. Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten.

According to a report from TMZ, the child died after a tragic drowning accident on Sunday.

TMZ reports that paramedics were rushed to the scene, and transported her to a hospital after performing CPR.

"Our little girl loved life and lived it to it’s fullest everyday," Miller said.

Emmy was the youngest of the New Hampshire native's four children.
