BOSTON — The Piano Man is coming back to Fenway Park this summer.
The Red Sox announced today that Billy Joel will headline his third concert in three years at the park.
"A triple play during a Red Sox game is a rare occurrence; Billy Joel will perform the first concert triple play at Fenway Park on August 18 when he plays the centerfield stage for the third consecutive summer," said Dave Marsden, Live Nation Boston promoter.
Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. on RedSox.com/BillyJoel.
This is the second show to be announced for this summer as part of the Fenway Park concert series. James Taylor will also perform there this summer on Wednesday, Aug. 3.
