Billerica police search for teen missing since Friday

BILLERICA, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Billerica Police Department is searching for a missing teenager who was last seen on Friday.

Police say that 15-year-old Jacob Walker was last seen Friday in Danvers, where he lives under the custody of the Department of Children and Families, according to the Lowell Sun.

Though the Billerica Police Chief told the Sun that Walker has a past history of running away, officers are concerned for his well-being because of the length of the time he's been missing. He has also not contacted his grandparents, who live in Billerica, since he was last seen on Friday.

Walker is around 5-foot 5-inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen at 11 Middleton St. in Danvers. On a local Facebook page called The Billerica Project, Jacob's grandmother Donna wrote, "Please help find my grandson and bring him home!"

Anyone who sees Jacob is asked to call their local police department or Donna Walker at (978) 866-2532.
