ASHLAND, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Embattled Ashland Police Chief Scott Rohmer has been put on administrative leave.
Rohmer had been involved in four lawsuits and a number of complaints in the last year, according to The MetroWest Daily News.
Retired Wakefield Police Chief Stephen Dougherty will act as interim chief beginning April 8, according to the paper.
Ashland Town Manager Anthony Schiavi said the search for a new police chief has begun.
