EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's child has died.
According to TMZ, Peterson's 2-year-old son was placed on life support Thursday night after police allege he was beaten by 27-year-old Joseph Patterson. The website reports Patterson was dating the child's mother.
Family members decided to take the boy off life support when his condition did not improve.
Patterson was arrested in South Dakota for his alleged connection to the child's beating.
Peterson is expected to plan the boy's funeral with the rest of his family.
