WORCESTER, Mass. — An undercover operation in Worcester nabbed nine arrests for prostitution this week.
A female officer posed as a decoy on city streets overnight and was offered drugs for sex in several instances.
Police say Hector Chavarria, 48, approaced the woman in a car and offered her crack cocaine in exchange for sex. He allagedly showed the woman a bag of drugs in his mouth and swallowed it when other undercover officers approached him. Jorge Figueroa, 33, was also in the car and is accused of offering drugs in exchange for sex.
The Worcester Police Department says the female officer was approahced througout the evening and netted several more arrests.
The following were all charged with "sexual conduct for a fee."
