BOSTON — A Dorchester barbershop has closed after four people were arrested inside for a drug trafficking ring.
At 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Boston police officers executed a search warrant at the V.I.P. Barbershop at 5 Erie Street following a lengthy investigation into a drug trafficking organization operating there.
Officers say they found and seized numerous bags of fentanyl packaged for sale, combined to about 150 grams.

Four suspects were arrested: 22-year-old Carlos Nivar of Dorchester, 24-year-old Eudomar Aybar of Dorchester, 20-year-old Carlos Ademan-Mejia of Hyde Park and 33-year-old Elvis Ledesma of Dorchester.
All will be arraigned for trafficking Class B drugs and conspiracy to violate the drug laws charges.
