BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) - Police have arrested a second person in connection with a violent home invasion in Bedford that sent three people to the hospital, one with a gunshot wound.
Police tell The Sun that 21-year-old Michael Gonzalez, of Lowell, was arrested Monday and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery while masked, possession of a firearm during a felony, and other offenses in connection with the home invasion last Wednesday.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
Police say three people forced their way into a Bedford apartment looking for marijuana. One resident was shot and two others were beaten.
Bedford's police chief says the shooting was the first in town in about a decade.
