LOS ANGELES — That's one way to off-load those Thin Mints and Samoas.

After Chris Rock addressed the controversy surrounding #OscarsSoWhite multiple times, he introduced his daughters all decked out, not in glamourous gowns, but in their Girl Scout uniforms.

"I want you to reach into your millionaire pockets, and I want to you buy some of my daughters' Girl Scouts cookies," Rock asked the crowd.

And the stars did reach into their pockets and purses, buying boxes of the cookies from Los Angeles area scouts, WRC reported.

Rock later said his daughters' troop came in second last year after selling $600 worth of the cookies. He joked that this year, the Oscar attendees bought more than $65,000 worth.
