Boston Calling headliners include Eminem, The Killers

BOSTON – The Boston Calling 2018 lineup has been announced, and fans of the annual event are praising the musicians performing.

The headliners of the three-day festival are Eminem, The Killers and Jack White. Other high-interest artists include Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore, Khalid, The Decemberists and St. Vincent.

“This is one hell of a lineup, you may have outdone yourselves,” Sean Moore commented on the Facebook announcement.

For the second year in a row, the show will be held at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Brighton. The festival debuted at Government Center in 2013, but after several successful years outgrew the space and relocated outside of the city center.

Last year’s event was plagued by complaints about long entrance lines, lack of signage and limited porta-potty access.

Organizers have already vowed to fix those issues plus increase wi-fi availability, provide larger video monitors and add dozens of food vendors.

“Last year was super crowded, and logistically set up a little funky. (Not to mention they ran out of most of their beers!) Hopefully they make some essential changes so the experience goes back up to the level of when it was at the other location,” Lacey Hudson said on the Facebook page.

The festival runs from May 25 -27. A limited number of early bird tickets are available.
