WARM START TO THE WEEKEND
It’s shaping up to be a beautiful afternoon with sunshine and 70s across the board today, enjoy it!
The dry, mild weather feels fantastic, but is leading to some problems. Pollen levels are elevated with a lack of rain to cleanse the air. Although an official drought hasn’t developed, “abnormally dry” conditions have expanded for most of southern New England. We’ve had 3 straight months with below average precipitation and we certainly don’t want to see a drought develop.
Sunday looks DIFFERENT. A backdoor cold front (winds out of the northeast), will move across the area bringing clouds and cooler 50s (normal for this time of year). A chance for rain looks to arrive late day and into the night, with the best chance to see a soaking rain south and west of the Boston area.
Next week looks cooler and mostly cloudy with a couple chances for rain.

What’s the downso a dry, mild stretch? The pollen count will stay elevated. The next rain to wash out the air won’t arrive until this weekend. So keep the tissue box close until then! tHE ! tHE! tH! t!
