We ended July 2021 in Boston tied for the greatest number of rainy days (18 days with 0.01” or more) with July of 1958. Plus, 6 other days had “trace” amounts of rainfall. As far as the amount, it was 2nd wettest July on record in Boston with 10.07″ of rain. Worcester had the wettest July on record with 13.85”!
A weak front will pass through and bring a chance of showers to the area. Most of these will wrap up early in the morning, but we can’t rule out a spot shower popping up during the afternoon as the sun warms the air. Temperatures will be slightly cooler for this time of year in the upper 70s.
