Boston 25 Weather

Father’s Day & Summer Solstice Forecast

FIRST DAY OF SUMMER & FATHER’S DAY

Astronomical summer arrived at 4:24 AM earlier this morning and while dad may not be on the course, temperatures will be right on par near 80 degrees! Believe it or not, we actually don’t see our latest sunset of the year until Wednesday, June 24th, at which time the sun sets at 8:25 pm... we’ll continue to see 8:25 pm sunsets through June 29th, let’s not mention what happens after that!

In terms of weather, we’ll start out mostly sunny with less wind, but clouds will ‘build’ in the afternoon. We’ll need to watch for a couple showers and thunderstorms popping up through the evening, just keep a close eye to the sky if planning any outdoor events. Highs low 80s.

MONDAY SOAKER

The next widespread rain arrives Monday. The day starts dry, but an area of low pressure will bring steadier rain after midday. Rain continues into Tuesday morning, with a widespread 1-2″ of rainfall expected. This will be a beneficial soaking rain as many areas continue to run well below normal for precipitation. Stay with us throughout the weekend as we keep a close eye on this unsettled weather!
