Boston 25 Weather

Holiday week forecast

MILD AND BREEZY

We’re off to a mild start today with afternoon highs climbing into the mid-40s. It will be breezy at times, but sunshine will dominate, making it a nice and bright day overall.

THIS WEEK

A dry cold front moves through tonight, ushering in cooler air. Lows will dip into the 20s by morning. Monday stays dry and bright, but noticeably colder, with highs in the low 30s.

Light snow arrives Tuesday afternoon and continues into Tuesday night. Southeastern Massachusetts is most likely to see a coating up to 1″, before switching over to rain. Points north and west of Boston will see 1–2″. A few localized spots could end up closer to 3″. While this is not a major storm, it could lead to slippery travel during a busy holiday week.

As the system exits Tuesday night, some of the snow may be washed away by rain overnight. Wednesday looks dry for Christmas Eve, with highs in the upper 30s. Christmas Day itself appears dry and seasonable, with highs near the low 40s.

We’re keeping an eye on another potential storm late Friday that could bring rain, snow, or a mix. Details are still uncertain, so stay tuned as we refine the forecast.
