CLOUDS RETURN
It was another nice and bright day. You’ll see high, thin clouds filter the sun this afternoon with more clouds moving in tonight.
RAIN ON THE WAY
Mostly cloudy skies will develop Wednesday, but it’s looking like much of the day stays dry. Afternoon highs will top out in the mid to upper 50s.
The steadiest and most widespread rain will fall Thursday morning and early afternoon. Showers looks to taper off by evening. Rainfall totals will range from 0.5-1″ in southern New England, but parts of ME and NH could see around 1.5″. That’s actually good news given the severe drought up that way.
THIS WEEKEND
Behind the storm, cooler air settles in for Friday and this weekend. Plan on highs in the 50s. An upper-level cold pool will keep plenty of on and off clouds around. The forecast looks generally dry, but an isolated shower can’t be ruled out.
