SHOWERS RETURN
It’s a chilly night ahead with temperatures dipping into the mid 30s as clouds continue to increase overnight.
Those clouds will lead us into a damp start Wednesday. Showers move in during the morning, and in the higher elevations across the interior, a few wet snowflakes could mix in at times. No accumulation is expected—just wet roads for the morning commute.
The steadiest showers taper off by midday, but don’t expect a full clearing. We’ll keep the clouds around with a few isolated showers lingering into the afternoon. It stays on the cooler side too, with highs only in the 40s.
By Thursday, we start to turn things around. There could be a spot shower early in the day, but most of us stay dry. Sunshine builds in through the afternoon, helping temperatures rebound into the low 60s.
WEEKEND IN VIEW
That milder air doesn’t last long. Highs settle back into the 50s Friday and continue through the weekend with generally quiet weather.
Looking ahead, our next chance for more widespread rain arrives Tuesday.
