Man reportedly exposes himself in Hingham Public Library

HINGHAM, Mass. — Police in Hingham are investigating after a man reportedly exposed himself inside the public library.

On Monday afternoon just before 3 p.m., police were called to Hingham Public Library for a report that a man exposed himself to a woman.

The incident took place on the second floor of the library. The woman was sitting at a table and the man was sitting on the ground near several bookcases but did not speak to her.

After the man exposed himself, the 29-year-old woman reported it to a staff member.

The alleged exposer was described as a white man, approximately 30-40 years old. He was wearing an orange and yellow plaid short-sleeved shirt at the time.

The incident is under investigation.
