Zdeno Chara is expected to miss at least four weeks after suffering an MCL injury against the Avalanche, the Bruins announced Saturday.
The team said Chara injured his left MCL during the first period against the Avalanche Wednesday night.
Zdeno Chara sustained an injury to his left MCL during the first period of the team’s game against Colorado on Wednesday, November 14. He will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.

The Bruins said Chara will be re-evaluated in about four weeks, and also announced Patrice Bergeron and John Moore were traveling back to Boston to be checked out by team doctors, as well.
Chara has played in 18 games for the Bruins this season, with three goals and an assist so far on the year.
