Brissett is the third string quarterback for the Patriots. Here are five fast facts about him:
1. Brissett played college football at Florida and NC State. He was drafted in the third round with the 91st overall pick in the 2016 draft.
2. He's 23, 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds.
3. While playing in college, he threw 187 straight passes without an interception in 2014 - the seventh longest streak in ACC history.
4. He was born in West Palm Beach Florida and attended high school there.
5. Today is his first time on the field as an NFL player during the regular season. He has a four-year rookie contract with the Patriots.
