FOXBORO -- Bills receiver Chris Hogan has signed a three-year, $12 million deal with the Patriots.
Hogan was a restricted free-agent so the Bills had the opportunity to match the Patriots' offer and declined. According to reports Hogan's contract will count $5.5 million against the salary cap this season.
The Patriots released receivers Brandon LaFell and Bryan Tyms, so Hogan will add some much needed depth to their receiving core.
Hogan completed his third season in Buffalo and finished fourth on the team with 36 catches for 450 yards and two touchdowns.
