BOSTON — It's been a winter sports season of success on Huntington Avenue, with Northeastern's winter teams playing at a high level.
The men's hockey team won the Beanpot Tournament for the second straight season and has advanced to the Hockey East semifinals, scheduled for this Friday at TD Garden against Boston University.
The men's basketball team won the CAA Tournament, earning a bid in the NCAA Tournament. The Huskies are headed to Salt Lake City for a first round matchup with Kansas.
