Hockey Fights Cancer fundraiser in Canton

A great event held in Canton on Saturday.  It was the second annual Hockey fights Cancer event at the Canton Icehouse.

The event is held in memory of Reo Todesca who died from lung cancer in December of 2017.  Reo was a true Canton hockey mom.  Her sons both played high school hockey and her son Paul is currently an assistant hockey coach at Xaverian High School

On this night six local teams played games against each other. Westwood played Hopkinton. Canton took on Mansfield and Xaverian played against Catholic Memorial.

But the games were secondary to the cause. All the proceeds and money raised go to families battling cancer.  And the money is raised for the Reo Todesca Memorial fund that helps those families out.
