For the Patriots-Chiefs season-opener at Gillette Stadium, Barstool Sports is distributing 70,000 turquoise towels showing Roger Goodell wearing a clown nose. They're looking for a massive display by Patriots fans of their disfavor for the commissioner.
60,000 of the towels were distributed in one hour on Wednesday, and another 10,000 would be handed out by Barstool before the game for fans to hand out at tailgates and wave inside the stadium.
Butch Stearns caught up with Barstool's founder David Portnoy before the game on Thursday and as usual he wasn't holding anything back.
