2019 Patriots schedule released with two home games airing on Boston 25

As the Patriots get set to defend their Super Bowl LIII title in 2019, the NFL has released the team's full schedule for the upcoming season.

While the league is breaking from their usual tradition of the defending Super Bowl champions opening up the season on Thursday night, the team will still get their primetime matchup at home to lower their most recent banner in front of the Patriots faithful.

The team is also scheduled for five primetime games in the 2019 season, with the option always there later in the season for games to be flexed to/away from primetime.
