Put aside your sad burger and trade it in for a fire-grilled burger at your local TGI Fridays.
From June 11th through June 15th, you can bring in a burger or photo of a burger to trade it in for a burger at TGI Fridays.
“Fridays has really invested in the quality, presentation and taste of our new Sky-High Burger lineup,” TGI Fridays Senior Director of Culinary Innovation David Spirito said. “The idea that in America, other places offer pretty sad burgers made us want to show America what a burger should be like - the Fridays way.”
Boston 25 Host and Senior Producer of Around Town, Michele Lazcano was in the kitchen at TGI Fridays first hand to see what all the hype was about.
“I loved being in the kitchen with David and watching him flip the handcrafted burgers,” Lazcano said. “I didn’t even try flipping for fear mine would stick to the ceiling, but it was fun to watch a great chef in action. Once we were done, I got a chance to try one of the Sky High Burgers. I went for the Philly Cheesesteak Burger, a beef patty topped with roast beef, peppers, onions and melted cheese, skewered with a Philly cheesesteak eggroll. It was phenomenal! So juicy! Loved it! And sitting there eating a great burger in an incredible bar, really did make a Thursday feel like a Friday!”
Just come into any Fridays to trade in a sad burger, or just show them a sad burger photo, to redeem a free Fridays burger while the promotion lasts. There are only 500 coupons per location, and you can learn more at www.tgifridays.com.
