Woman pleads guilty to killing pizza delivery man

BOSTON (AP) - One of three people charged with luring a pizza delivery driver to a vacant home in Boston before robbing him and stabbing him to death has pleaded guilty.

Yamiley Mathurin, who was a 17-year-old high school junior when Richel Nova was killed in September 2010, pleaded guilty Monday to charges including manslaughter on the second day of jury selection in Suffolk Superior Court.

Prosecutors say the now 21-year-old Mathurin lured the 58-year-old Nova to the rear of the house, where her boyfriend and his friend were waiting in the shadows.

Nova was stabbed 16 times, and the suspects stole $100, two pizzas, an order of chicken wings and a bottle of soda, then took off in his car.

Mathurin's co-defendants, now 22 and 24, still face first-degree murder charges.
