BOSTON, Mass. — One of the many perks of living in Boston is having the ability to see and feel history anywhere you go.
From university buildings built during the colonial era to bricks on the pavements in Downtown Boston, history is everywhere.
Contrasting with old, historic buildings we now have high-rise corporate towers and a thriving business atmosphere right in the heart of the city. Technology has improved, people's lifestyles have changed but Boston still remains true to its origins.
That's why Emerson College seniors Harrison Jeffs and Sebastian Crank put together "a visual comparison of Boston in the 1930's to Boston today."
The video highlights the changes the city has gone through during almost nine decades and draws connections between what was built in the 30's and how we've been able to blend many of those structures with newer, more modern ones.
