WAREHAM, Mass. — A West Wareham man has been arrested and charged after allegedly being violent with police and other emergency personnel outside an apartment building in the town. The incident occurred early Saturday morning, just after 7:30 a.m., per a release from Wareham Police.
Theodore S. Lopes Jr., 35, is facing multiple charges stemming from a Saturday morning incident that began when emergency responders were alerted to a fire alarm that was set off at Union Pond Apartments in Wareham.

While waiting for evaluation by EMTs, Lopes Jr. took off running towards a running car parked in the complex. There, he tried to enter the van, which was occupied by four children.
