A West Bridgewater restaurant remains closed indefinitely after a pipe burst in a neighboring business, flooding part of the building.
On Jan. 2, a pipe burst in a store two doors down from Crystal's Kitchen, flooding part of the building and the electrical panels. All five businesses in West Bridgewater's Center Shopping Plaza' are now closed indefinitely.
"The place closed down just all a sudden and we never know when it's going to open and I have to calm employees down, if not I will have not chef by the time we open," said Crystal's Kitchen owner Crystal Tan.

Despite not making any money, Tan tried paying her employees while the restaurant remains closed, but they refused, saying they don't want to be paid if they don't earn it.
"If we rich, we rich together. If we poor, we poor together. So no point to receive income at this point. We wait until we reopen and we'll be fine," said employee Sanpetch Chartrucksa.
Tan says she is touched by her employees' dedication.
"This is her income, too. Where can she get money to pay us? We don't work so we don't get paid. We're not going to take money for free, that's our motto anyway," said Chartrucksa.
The West Bridgewater building commissioner tells Boston 25 News there is still some electrical work to finish on the building before they do a final walkthrough. He said best-case scenario is that the restaurant and the rest of the businesses open early next week.
