BOSTON — Two people were killed in separate shootings in Boston early Sunday, according to Boston Police.
Officers arrived shortly before 2 a.m. in the area of 38 Erie Street in Dorchester after receiving a radio call that someone had been shot. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was brought to an area hospital where he died.
The second call came in just after 2 a.m. Officers in Dorchester received a radio call for shots fired in the area of Sumner Street and Conrad Street. When they arrived, officers found ballistic evidence, but didn’t see a victim.
Then while still on scene, Boston Police Department Operations made a broadcast that a man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds had been dropped off at an area hospital. He later died.
