“Teen Mom” alum Mackenzie McKee and her husband of nearly nine years, Josh McKee, have called it quits.
The reality TV star took to Instagram to confirm that the couple is going their separate ways after nearly 12 years together.
“Sometimes things work, and sometimes, no matter how hard you fight, it just doesn’t work out. I am breaking my silence about Josh and I being done,” she wrote beside photos of the couple sharing happier times.
“I will always respect him as the father of my children but it’s time for me to find my happy,” she added.
The couple shares three children: Gannon Dewayne, 10; Jaxie Taylor, 8; and Broncs Weston, 5, People magazine reported.
Fans of the popular “Teen Mom” franchise have followed the couple’s often tumultuous relationship since Mackenzie McKee, now 27, first appeared on a 2012 episode of “16 & Pregnant,” followed by the short-lived “Teen Mom 3″ and, most recently, on “Teen Mom OG,” US Weekly reported.
According to People, Mackenzie and Josh began dating in 2009, wed in 2013 and split in August 2019 after Mackenzie accused Josh of cheating with her cousin following her mother’s death. They reunited shortly after the dust-up, and Josh popped the question a second time in October 2019.
