Soccer star Lionel Messi and three of his teammates have tested positive for COVID-19, officials with Paris Saint-Germain said Sunday.
Messi, 34, a forward for the French Ligue 1 club, will be in isolation and will be subject to health protocols, ESPN reported.
“The four players that tested positive for COVID-19 are Leo Messi, Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico and Nathan Bitumazala. They are currently in isolation and are subject to the appropriate health protocol,” the club said in a statement.

The club also confirmed that Neymar is approximately three weeks away from returning to training after suffering ankle ligament damage on Nov. 28.
Paris Saint-Germain returns to action Monday in a road match against Vannes in the Coupe de France, ESPN reported.
