The band had been slated to play Saturday and Sunday at the iThink Financial Amphitheatre, WPTV reported.

“We are incredibly sorry to all our fans who planned to spend the holiday weekend with us,” the band announced Saturday via Twitter. “Please hold on to your tickets as we work towards a rescheduled date.”

The band did not identify the member who has contracted COVID-19 but did indicate that the shows will likely be rescheduled, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

According to the newspaper, the weekend’s postponements mark the second time in six months that the coronavirus has impacted the band. Saxophonist Jeff Coffin contracted the virus in November and was unable to perform a two-night run at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, but Ben Golder-Novick filled in, according to reports.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning band canceled a September concert in Durant, Oklahoma, tweeting, “(I)t was not possible to implement the band’s COVID-19 policies in this venue,” the Sun-Sentinel reported.
