“Shooter” I was out shooting the Milky Way last night at Lake Macquarie when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a shooting star blazing through the northern sky. The Milky Way wasn’t quite in position (I was set up and had taken a few practice shots), but fortunately I still had my WiFi remote in my hand, so was able to hit the trigger and capture the last half of the event. The reflection on the water is green, that’s the primary colour I saw, but there was also a brilliant red as it burned up. I’ve never seen one as colourful as that before, hopefully I get lucky and capture another some day 😍 #astrophotography #lakemacquarie #shootingstar #meteor #milkyway #mynewcastle #universe #aussiepics #sigma14mmart #aussiephotos #australia_oz #australiagram #seeaustralia #wow_australia #ig_australia #bestnatureshot #canonaustralia #milkywaypics #longexposure_shots #alalamiya_mystics #pic_groups #exploreaustralia #sky_sultans #nature_brilliance #sky_brilliance #Main_Vision #skywatcher #stars #milkywayshooters #milkywaychasers
