TIMELINE: Mass. State Police arrest report scandal

The Massachusetts State Police are in the middle of a scandal after troopers were allegedly ordered to alter an unflattering arrest report.

On October 16, Alli Bibaud, the daughter of Dudley District Court Judge Timothy Bibaud, was arrested in Worcester. During her arrest, she allegedly made comments about performing oral sex in exchange for drugs.

The trooper who wrote up the arrest report says he was ordered by now former Colonel Rick McKeon to redact the report after Judge Bibaud allegedly asked him to.

Since then, two troopers have filed lawsuits against the department and McKeon and his second-in-command, Francis Hughes, have retired.

An internal investigation is underway by the police union and McKeon's replacement, Kerry Gilpin, has announced her office will conduct an investigation, as well.
