The 'duct tape game' poses serious dangers to teens, others

BOSTON — The duct tape challenge is a dangerous new game that has landed at least one teenager in the hospital.

The goal of the game is to break free from the duct tape.

Skylar Fish fell when his legs and arms were taped up. Now he wants other kids to learn from his mistake.

He crushed his eye socket and slammed his head so hard into the concrete that it caused a brain aneurysm.

"I'm just actually really lucky to be even alive,” he said. "I want to teach other kids not to do it. When I think about it, like I become sad. And then like really happy. Because I'm happy because like I survived it."

Skylar pinched off nerves in his eye and may never get his vision back.
