SAUGUS, Mass. — A 47-year-old Tewksbury man died on Tuesday afternoon in a fatal motor vehicle crash in Saugus, according to a release from local police.
Officials responded to a rollover crash on Main Street in Saugus around 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning. There, emergency medical services used hydraulic tools to free the victim from the vehicle – a Ram pick-up truck – where he was trapped.
The victim was then transported to an area hospital, where he later died. Police have not released the identity of the victim as they need to notify the man’s next of kin.

Saugus Police are investigating the crash along with the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
