BOSTON — Taco Bell is retuning to Boston, Boston 25 News has confirmed.
Jacob Duarte, a company spokesperson, said the former Subway location on Summer Street will be home to the chain’s restaurant.
Duarte said the restaurant is set to open early next year.
Taco Bell used to have a restaurant on Commonwealth Avenue near Kenmore Square.
Currently, the closest Taco Bell restaurants are in Cambridge, Revere, Everett, West Roxbury and Quincy.
